About Jen

 Jen Barwick is the owner and principal consultant of Nature Solutions Consultancy.

She specialises in bridging environmental policy, research and on-ground delivery — supporting governments, statutory authorities, industry groups, NGOs and regional stakeholders to navigate and investigate environmental markets and nature-based opportunities.

Jen has worked across government, conservation and primary industries, with experience spanning climate policy, carbon farming, environmental market development, stakeholder engagement and communications. She started her career as a journalist, working across a number of regional and metro papers. 

Raised on cattle properties in regional NSW, Jen has a long-standing connection to agriculture and regional communities, which continues to shape her interest in practical and regionally informed approaches to environmental management. She has a BA in Journalism (CSU) and Graduate Certificate in Climate Policy (ANU) and plans on making it a Masters eventually. 

Nature Solutions Consultancy operates as an independent consultancy and regularly collaborates with a growing network of trusted specialists, researchers and delivery partners to support broader or multidisciplinary projects.
